Will's Auto Machine Shop, Inc.

I can't recommend Will's son Mark enough. Meticulous and experienced. Nissan L28 F54 block, V07 diesel crank, H-beam L24 rods. Bored 120 over to fit KA24 pistons. Supplied pistons, rings and bearings. Polished journals, balanced reciprocating assembly, tanked, checked deck & replaced freeze plugs. As close to perfect as my measurements could tell. Very happy with price, turn around speed, and most importantly quality of the job. Engine assembly went together without surprises. Now with over 1,000 mixed highway & city miles since installation in my 240Z, the 3.1 liter is making ample seat of the pants power while reving smoothly to redline. (P90 head, stock Nissan A-cam, HS8 carburetors, electronic ignition, Z-Story branded stainless exhaust)

Brought my 4.7 V8 Block and left Head out of my 08 Ram 1500. To Wills auto Machine shop, inc. I live in Pooler so I drove 3 1/2 hours to them, when we ran into any issues they were very helpful I forgot to bring my crankshaft so I had to ship it to them but they didn’t mind they let me know everything they did and were always very respectful and nice when I called even though I called a good amount of times🙏. Overall they did a great job everything looks amazing except they forgot to remove my stripped spark plug, they told me they would and that it wouldn’t be a problem but when I hit the head back it was still there. other than that it looks great and they did it in a very timely matter very much appreciated.

I give this place a 5-star rating because the interaction I had with this shop was great. So I own Stardust Automotive Inc. in Jacksonville, North Carolina and I’m one of the top 5-Engine builders in the state and when I need professional work done, I need it done right the first time. So the local machine shops in the area really have not done a good job on this particular build I’m doing and it’s screwed up pretty badly. After getting nothing but excuses and no resolution I decided to look outside of my state and came across this shop. The gentleman I spoke with was professional and listened to the situation and gave me some professional courtesy on his ideas about it all. We spoke for a bit and he never made me feel like I was unimportant but rather made me know I mattered to him. Hats off to this place. A+ in customer service. I highly recommend this place. Very professional!
